If you have been supporting our mission over the years, you will remember fondly many of the artists on this set of blues and gospel.

The set starts with my best friend Captain Luke on his glorious tour of Argentina with the blues great Botafoga. It was an incredible run of performances to sold out theaters, clubs and even a soccer stadium in this wonderful, seemingly blues-starved, country.

The experience had a profound impact on Captain—the television and radio spots, the adoring audiences. We do not talk about this a great deal, but we present artists that not many think about presenting, we go into musical communities and meet artists who never ever thought of venturing out, the possibility too remote to even dream about.

Their voices and music, thankfully, have been recorded, and we can enjoy, learn, and celebrate their lives, reflect on our personal memories with these great people, and hopefully bring joy to new music lovers that will learn about our mission.
