Neal Big Daddy Pattman & Cool John Ferguson - LIVE -1999
Winston Blues Revival - New York City - Irvine Plaza

My dear friend Ardie Dean has been working hard keeping up with mining our archives. Ardie joined Guitar Gabriel one night at a pizza place in Boone, NC to play drums, and he has not missed one single performance since!! This jewel of a set brings back many fine memories when Ardie, Taj Mahal and I would back up country blues artists such as Neal Pattman.

The greatest thing big tobacco ever did was to partner a goodwill circus featuring Music Maker Relief Foundation's blues masters with titan Taj Mahal as ring leader. Billed as the "Winston Blues Revival" and a multi-million dollar ad campaign, it became a massive two year tour, selling out every hip venue in almost every state. The rule was given by RJ Reynolds to Music Makers bluesmen and women, "just go out and do your thing!" That tour was a wild joyride of non-stop love, bliss and blues imprinting each audience with America's most precious true resource as only Music Maker can champion

So, Here is but one winter night at New York City's premiere hipster venue, (Bob Dylan's preferred hall). Neal and Cool were 2 among seven artist featured that night.

With the great Taj Mahal on upright bass supporting Neal Big Daddy Pattman and founding father Tim Duffy on guitar plus fellow "Brother In The Kitchen" Ardie Dean on drums, Neal unleashed authentic raw southern blues in undeniable fashion to deafening applause.

That tour was a wild joyride of non-stop love, bliss and blues imprinting each audience with America's most precious true resource as only Music Maker can champion.
