critical in keeping American Roots music vital. There is no song more
common in the American musical lexicon than Amazing Grace. In this
Listener's Circle you will hear this gospel classic interpreted by a diverse
array of musicians. From Native American to Down-home Blues, from full
bands to lonesome acapella versions.

When recording an artist I usually ask them to perform their version of Amazing Grace because it is a deeply personal song that has impacted every traditional artist in a different way. The songs on this album were recorded from the early 90s up until last month, with new Music Maker partner Wilbur Tharpe. So take a seat, have a deep listen, and enjoy!
